I know, I totally suck as a field trip provider. The sad truth is that I haven’t had much time for surfing around the last month, and don’t have a field trip stashed aside for you all.

But to help ease the disappointment, I come with foreign covers to enjoy. The following are the German covers for Girl’s Guide to Vampires (in red), and Sex and the Single Vampire (blue). It’s rather timely that these covers should pop up, since I am currently engaged in mulling over Dark Ones story ideas. In fact, I’m in the throes of plotting something a little different for me–a continuing storyline for the vampires, one which will take more than one book to tell. It’s something I’ve done for the dragons, but never for the vamps, so I’m having a lot of fun giving in to my muse and letting her run wild with storylines.

I’ll have more info about that possible series once I get the actual plotting done, and my editor has a chance to eyeball it. But for now, that’s my super-secret news…which I guess isn’t going to be very super-secret any longer, but we will just ignore that and plow ever onward.
