Whether “slow” refers to a mental or emotional state…well, we’ll just draw a discreet veil over that question and move on, shall we?

Your humpy day question that was supposed to go out yesterday, but didn’t because my dogs were annoying the crap out of me and not letting me write more than three consecutive words without demanding attention, is as follows:

Well, hell, I’ve forgotten it. I blame my dogs.

Oh, for those of you who were worried about me shooting a character, let me point out there’s a difference between shooting one, and killing one off. Just sayin’.

I just waned to tell you, I read Ghost of a chance the other day and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was definitely different than the other things i've read from you(which usually keep me guessing while making me bust a gut) but not in a bad way. The Kate Marsh book definitly had its own style.
Anyhoo, thank you. You gave me a wonderful couple of hours curled up on the couch while visiting that world.

Of course there is a difference! One can be very painful depending upon the location of the bullet to the body, and the other can be very permanent (so long as blood loss or a bullet to the head causes you to die that is).

Dogs are bad babies. Mines is super bad. He is not talking to me today. When I tried to send him outside to the potty he hid under my bed. He made me practically crawl under there to retrieve his naughty tush. So I spanked said tushie and sent him out to piddle anyways.

I normally do not spank my dog but his treatment of me tonight had gone too far with the ignoring, growling, and hiding. He is a very bad fuzzy baby. I may toss him in the bath if he keeps it up. Remind him who is the boss of this house is. (NOT HIM)

Our dogs have been very much annoying the crap out of me lately. My sister has a Rottweiler-Basset Hound that carries around this big smelly rope when she wants to play. Recently she has taken to chucking it at you, if you aren't wearing shoes when she drops it on the top of your foot, it REALLY hurts. Whenever she brings the rope my mom's Bouvier gets excited. Today, it was ALL DAY! (Even after I played with them for almost 2 hours!)

have you tried a Kong? if you fill it with peanut butter and freeze it it keeps dogs busy for a solid hour... and then there's always melting cheese on a rawhide strip that one is fun too.. but low fat cheese is better ( less grease). I learned these tricks writing my thesis and it worked for me!

good luck injuring your characters!
