My good news is utterly shameless--after working diligently on beating back waiting reader letters, I managed to shorten the queue to October 07. I'm surprised people still remember me after waiting for months, but so many people send back lovely responses, I'm touched.

The vamp book is also zipping along, on schedule for a change. I'm secretly surprised by that, too, but we won't dwell on my ability to procrastinate in the face of a deadline.

Instead, let's see what you all have to share for GNT!

I had an absolutely amazing weekend with my best friend. It's fun to have someone to drag around town to do all the touristy things with. In addition I get late night girl talk and drunken MMORPG playing. This next weekend my SO is coming to visit so I get to do all the above with a romantic twist...and minus the girl talk of course.

Additionally, I started plotting a new book. All I need now is a good conspiracy!

Today is my Thursday. I am going to the Bay Area with the boyfriend for his best friends wedding. We're flying up Thursday & will be back Sunday. Staying in a POSH hotel and I get to see my hunnies in a tux!!!

And maybe he'll realize marriage isn't such a scary thing after all...

It's my birthday! We're going to be eating at a local German place for dinner, so I won't be cooking. The best part is that I get to leave work in 30 minutes. Thank goodness. :)

Today is a good day.

My friend and I are starting a new RP and it's great do far. Our characters are going to be a hoot! Also, I merely have to sew my Kyou Kara Maou Costume and I will be ready to go to Anime Oasis and Sakura Con (well aside from saving up some monies to get more anime and manga).

My good news is that I am absolutely finished with over nights! I will never do that again!!! I missed being apart of the living (being undead sux!) and actually missed my normal job. *sigh* I am actually psyched to go back to work tomorrow!

I went to a conference on teaching about radiation and radioactivity last weekend, and it was great. I got a whole lot of ideas and free stuff, including an old surplus geiger counter from the 50s.

Tickets
I my youth I had a green '79 dodge aspen. I was routinely stopped by neighboring police and aske "Do you know how fast you were going?" with a wary look at my "wheels". "Yes, I do officer." was usually my proud reply, after all to get that tank up to speeds I acquired was amazing..... They shook there heads and gave me warnings. At one point, they just gave up and used to just wave at me!

I got my letter answered and was quite pleased! I forgot that I had even written one but now things are cleared up and I can enjoy Drake again without the mystery of how he could be a green dragon if his father was a black one. Squee!
