It's good news time again, and I do have some. One bit I'm not sure I can share yet (but I will once I know it's kosher), the other is that editing on the vamp book I just finished should be done today, and then I will have some actual honest-to-god time off.
You know, time off wherein I write content for/update my websites, write, record, and upload a couple of podcasts, chip away at the reader e-mail queue (currently at October 2007), answer interview questions, figure out when I can do a local booksigning, do some promo stuff for the upcoming Playing With Fire, and oh yes--start the hellish nightmare that is pulling together all the tax stuff so the tax accountant can get that filed. All that in the week that remains.
Somehow, I'm not quite so excited about my "time off" as I should be...
While I'm doing that, please feel free to post your own good news!

Even better, I'm continuing to lose weight without really trying now that my thyroid levels are normalized. :D
But! the best part of this convention was that my little friend Ashley, who is part of the fan club for a certain Voice Actor who I adore, managed to get him to come to dinner with us. Us as in seven girls who love his work and admire him! It was totally awesome and said voice actor is a really nice and funny guy. He was even tolerant of one of the girl's grandmother's driving... We kind of got lost in Boise... but it all worked out and I learned some new things.
Now I can afford to and buy more books and pay some bills.
Notice the priority [grin]
