Two, two, two posts in one!

Sad Katie

My apologies for missing good news Tuesday. Things have been a bit hectic around Rancho Doghair as the mother-in-law settles down to health. And that is actually my good news--she's feeling better, and has received a good bill of health from her doctor. Feel free to share your own good news, since no one can have too much happiness!

And for your hump day question, let's go with an oldie, but a goodie: what are you happy about right this moment?

Two, two, two answers in one!
My good news is exactly what I'm happy about right this moment...

After suffering a miscarriage in February, 2008, I am happy to say that I'm roughly 7 weeks pregnant, and we saw our little blueberry's heartbeat on Monday.

Looks like this one may actually stick!!

There's a new slave...I mean engineer...working in the office now, so I can push off half the work I was doing onto him. Unfortunately, that just means that I get even more work to do.

Answering both questions...I GOT PAID! And I'm growing huge sunflowers on my porch. I feel so...domestic. I'm cooking (shock), cleaning (not so much shock), and growing plants that arn't dying (Ultra shock!) so life is good.

In similarly domestic vain, my happy moment pertains to breaking down to finally buy a dryer. We were supposed to get one a year and a half ago. Oh, to have the ability to clean laundry on a whim!

Also, my new rosemary plant is so far still a happy little plant. I am amazed that anything is growing for me, but there it is.

My ex boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident two weeks after I left him. My good news is that he's alive and improving daily. I'm happy that the doctors say he'll eventually make a full recovery.

Happy news!
I am currently happy that we have been very busy this week at the clinic and so can pay a few bills. But my true good news of the week is that my dad's surgery was successful and what they saw on the CT was not a new cancer growth.

Good news-I just got released from my surgeon's care back into my PCP.

Happy-QFC has an amazing sale on blueberries right now. $4.99 for 2lbs. I *love* blueberries and am happily eating a bowl full right now.

I got an amazing Juno T-shirt as a belated birthday gift today! It says "Paulie Bleaker is the cheese to my macaroni" on the back. Too cute! And I finished Sex and the Single Vampire yesterday. Goooood book. But now I'm too broke to buy a new one and I must choose between Noble Destiny and Sex, Lies, and Vampires. So that's sort of like bad news haha

New Here
Hi, Everybody! My good news is that my oldest son is adjusting well to his summer session at college--and emailing me regularly.
Right this minute I'm happy about my new haircut and highlights. I've never had them before, and I like them a lot.

I am simply happy that my mind is settling down enought for my muse to start talking to me again.
