I was reminded of this article some time back about the Lady Kath card in the TCG. Well worth a read if you haven't.

Is anybody else getting an entirely black screen for blood elves at the character select screen? All of my other raced characters are fine, but the belfs screens are completely black except for the ui and their name.

I was wondering if it was a problem for more people than just me.

Remember all that craziness with my hubby's surprise epic flying mount for his birthday?

It's been no more than 4 days and he's already got his wyrven and a nether ray.

This morning he asked me to play dailies with him, and he opened trade on the Isle of Quel'Danas... and plopped 3k gold into the window.

"What is this?" I gasped.

"Oh, I thought we'd go pick up your epic flyer so we could keep up on dailies in Outlands together," he states casually. Then he grinned at me.

I was genuinely surprised!

He claims that he had already gemmed his new boots, he was set on gear for awhile and had his new epic flyer plus a faction mount, so he didn't need it. I asked him if this meant his bday gift wasn't as good, since he could afford to help me out... and he said it's still just as special to him.

Moreso, now that we can ride together!

So I didn't argue, I went over to SMV after our old world dailies... and got mines mount!

Mhmm. That title may be slightly misleading, so allow me to explain. I'd like to make an inquiry to the fellow roleplayers around here -

Have you ever played a character who either falls in love easily, is a "seductress" type, or acts otherwise romance-crazed in WoW? If so, what was your experience like?

Were you constantly misunderstood as having a real interest (as in you, the controller of those hot pixels onscreen) in the other players rather than your character teasing theirs? Or were people generally willing to play along/you enjoyed the experience? I ask because I'm planning on leveling my baby BE lock this summer on an RPPvP server and frankly, I want her to be addicted to hitting on Forsaken men. Why? Because I find them ridiculously sexy.

Any advice out there on playing flirtatious characters? Think I'm crazy for attempting this y/n?

After like 2 months of farming, making spellcloth and making new friends to make it for me when my cooldown is still up.. last night I met a mage, who let me make them robes with their mats to d/e and get my tailoring to 375, he gave me 20 netherweb and I spent 300g on primals and 1 more spellcloth and......

I love it when a raid goes well.

My resto druid got the Shard off maiden, and the sapphire off shade, and my hunter got Garona's signet off Curator. Our tank got the king's defender from chess.

/sigh.

Although we glitched in chess- three people's pieces died and they got sent through the floor straight to the menagerie, and they couldn't get loot or badges from the chest.

Just barely came back to LJ, thought I'd seek out some WoW communities.  I started playing shortly after the release of BC, as such all of my toons are Blood Elf except for one flag carrying twink cow bear cat owl mutant. o_O

My first toon was an Affliction lock who I levelled off and on until 66.  Then I started really getting into the game when I decided to roll a mage, who is currently the toon I would consider my main.  I hit lvl 70 a little less than a month ago now and am now just starting to really get into endgame; raiding, badge collection, gearing up, etc.  My guild has Kara on farm and does Gruul and ZA as often as we can, though because of work I've not had tons of chances to go along.

I just bought my epic flyer and am working on restocking my gold reserves. :)  So, howdy. :)

So, while my guild is on break due to finals I respec'd my arms ms warrior to prot and got the last few badges of justice for Dory's Embrace, the best pvp cape. I'm 70k honor before I'm out of honor items from s1/s3 to buy. Now this presents me with a problem. With my break coming up I'll have this before the end of June and I'm pretty much the most geared person in my guild. I wanted to do Arenas with them for gear but they're very undergeared compared to me.

So, I was thinking of grabbing some druid with about equal gear sometime, getting rank 2v2 then try to get my guild arena points in 3v3/5v5 teams so they catchup and get something. That or or we could run for T4 tokens or something. But we're not geared enough for that either yet.

I need heroic SL for Trial of the Naaru!

Alaphrei needs to be there for Murmur but if another healer wants to come, we could 2-healer/1-healer+1 lol dps just him (and I could bring another alt for the rest of the instance or the other healer could, I don't care)

Hoping for a bit of crowd control, I think last time we did this with only 1 but it was very tough (of course part of that was Chris forgot to put his bear gear on after the second boss, ooops XD)

I need to do Heroic Steamvaults later on in the week, I'm thinking sometime between Tuesday-Thursday. I plan on doing Slave Pens hordeside either Tues or Wed so I'm going to wait on scheduling Heroic SV until that is done. That's also for Trial of the Naaru.

I have a...technical question for all of you.

I'm trying to reinstall WoW after a reformat. I'm running Windows XP Home now, and I keep getting an error when I try to start up the game.

It did it after I'd installed both the base game and BC, and also with just the base game.

I get this error message: There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive E.

Any ideas on why it does this? I have no idea what disk I'm supposed to insert, and I don't remember a disk being required to play. When I put the first disk of the base game in, thinking that might be the correct one, it still gave me a 'fatal' error saying that memory couldn't be referenced at some spot. Any idea why it's doing this, or should I just deal with it and call Blizz customer service?

Kestien was a little BE rolled almost a year ago when I got nipped by the RP bug. He stayed at level 14 for months- I never expected him to get into anything big or get very far. But then things happened, and well... now he's 70, and just yesterday my little baby Belf got himself married <3.

I come to you all with questions in need of help. I am currently speced as a Ret. Pally and as much as I love playing ret after me and 3 people from my guild ran Mara ( 48 ret pally, 48 prot pally, 59 hunter and 59 mage) it's come to my attention that I'm needed more as a prot then ret cuz our prot is gonna respec to a healidain. So what is the best spec that you can suggest for me and what is the best website out there for tank info? What enchant for my sword is best? I had savagery on my 2H. Thanks for any help you can provide! Here is my current spec:
